Before the day
A gender reveal is a short, happy afternoon built around one moment. Your invitation gives the date, the place on a map and a countdown, and a theme in soft colours sets the mood. Send the link to the family group, and the RSVP tells you how many adults and children are coming, with any allergies for the cake.
The feed is where the fun starts. Guests post their guesses, “team pink” and “team blue”, the grandmothers explain their signs, and everyone sees each other’s bets before the day. Each name carries a role, so the future grandparents and the aunt who knew first stand out.
On the day
The reveal itself lasts a few seconds, whether it is a cake, a box of balloons, confetti or coloured smoke. Every guest films it from a different angle. Put a QR code on the gate or the table and everyone uploads photos and videos straight away in full quality, long videos and iPhone HEIC included, with no app. You get the parents’ faces, the grandparents’ reaction and the cousins jumping, all in one place.
Stories catch the moments before and after the reveal, and song requests let guests choose what plays in the garden. A cousin or a friend can be your co-host and keep an eye on the feed while you enjoy it. Relatives abroad follow the feed live and post their reactions in the comments.
After the day
The album stays private to your guests. On Essential, download everything as a ZIP and keep the reveal videos for the baby’s first album. Comments and wishes stay in the feed to read again.
Family near and far
Gender reveals have become a family event, with grandparents, godparents-to-be and cousins of all ages. Relatives in another country follow the feed and see the videos minutes after the moment. Many reveals are outdoors in the warm months, so plan for sun on the screen of every phone and put the QR code somewhere shaded. When the baby arrives, see christenings.
Which plan fits
Essential (€49) is the plan for gender reveals. It has the invitation, the feed and QR photos, plus the RSVP, stories, song requests, one co-host and three parts in the schedule. The live wall, quizzes and the wishbook belong to the bigger plans for other occasions. Prices include VAT and are paid once, online for three months, €30 more for six or €60 more for twelve.
See how guests use it in the demo wedding, then compare the plans.
