Before the shower
A baby shower is usually organised by a sister, a best friend or the future grandmother, and kept a little secret from the mum-to-be. MyWedi suits that well. The organiser creates the space, invites a co-host, and sends one link with the invitation: the date, the place on a map, a countdown and a soft theme.
The RSVP counts who is coming, adults and children, and notes allergies for the food. Reminder e-mails reach the friends who always forget to answer. In the feed, guests share their best advice, a photo of themselves as babies, or a few words for the parents. Each name carries a role, so aunts, grandmothers and friends from work all know who is who.
On the afternoon
A QR code on the cake table or the door is all guests need. They upload photos and videos in full quality, with no app and no account: the decorations, the games, the moment the mum-to-be opens a present. Stories catch the small moments, and song requests let everyone add to the playlist.
Friends who live abroad, or who just had a baby of their own and can’t come, follow the feed from home and send their wishes in the comments. They are part of the afternoon without being in the room.
After the shower
The feed and the album stay private to the people you invited. Download everything as a ZIP and keep it with the first scan and the hospital bracelet. Read the advice and wishes again on the long nights. They help more than you expect.
Every family does it its own way
Some prefer a small afternoon with close friends, others invite the whole family, from the great-grandmother to the youngest cousin. Some keep it a surprise, others plan it with the mum-to-be. Which plan fits
Essential (€49) is the plan for baby showers. It has the invitation, the feed and QR photos, plus the RSVP, stories, song requests, one co-host and three parts in the schedule. The live wall, gift lists, quizzes and the wishbook belong to the bigger plans for other occasions. Prices include VAT and are paid once, online for three months, €30 more for six or €60 more for twelve.
