Fill the dance floor with the songs your guests love
Every party has the cousin who asks the DJ for the same song five times, and the friend who is too shy to ask at all. Song requests give everyone a say. Guests suggest songs from their phone and vote for the ones they like, and the most wanted rise to the top.
Song requests are included from the Essential plan.
How guests use them
Guests open the song requests from your event page, type a song and the artist and send it. They see what others have asked for and tap to vote. Weeks before the day, it is a fun way to get guests talking about the party. On the night, it lets them ask without queueing at the DJ booth.
How hosts and the DJ use them
- See every request with its votes in the hosts’ dashboard.
- Remove anything you don’t want played. The list is yours.
- Share the list with the DJ or the band so they can plan the set. Ask a co-host to pass it on if you would rather not deal with it.
Tips
- Open song requests when you send the invitation. The early requests tell you a lot about the crowd.
- Tell the DJ which part of the night the requests are for, such as the party after dinner rather than the first dance.
- If your families come from different countries, guests will ask for songs from home too. Let the DJ know in advance which ones matter most to you.
- Pair it with quiz and polls on Story for even more fun during the party.
