A game the whole room can play
How well do your guests know the couple? Where did they first meet? Who said “I love you” first? A quiz turns those stories into a game, and polls let the room vote on anything from the best dancer to the name of the first pet.
Quiz and polls are included from the Story plan.
How guests play
When you open a quiz or a poll, guests see it on their phone in your event. They tap their answers, and the quiz keeps the score. No app and no account, the same name they typed when they joined is on the leaderboard.
How hosts run it
- Write your questions and answers in the hosts’ dashboard before the day.
- Open a quiz or a poll when the moment is right, such as between courses or before the cake.
- Close it when time is up, and show the leaderboard or the results.
- Run several during the evening, or one big quiz at the right moment.
Ideas
- Weddings: how the couple met, the proposal, who is the better cook, the honeymoon destination.
- Christenings: guess the baby’s weight at birth, the first word, who the little one looks like.
- Corporate events: questions about the company’s year, polls for the team awards.
- Birthdays: a quiz about the birthday person’s life, decade by decade.
Tips
- Keep it to about ten questions. Short and funny beats long and hard.
- Ask the DJ or the host to announce the start, so the whole room plays at once.
- A small prize for the winner always helps.
- Use song requests and photo challenges to keep the fun going.
