A guestbook nobody has to carry
The paper guestbook on a table by the door often ends up with a dozen hurried lines. The MyWedi wishbook collects the wishes guests leave in your event over days and weeks, from the invitation to the morning after, and puts them in one PDF.
The wishbook is included from the Story plan.
How guests leave a wish
Guests write a wish in your event from their phone, whenever they like: when the invitation arrives, during the dinner, on the way home. On Signature they can also record a voice wish, and those are part of the wishbook too. Guests who can’t come can still send their words from abroad.
How hosts use it
When you are ready, create the wishbook from the hosts’ dashboard. Every written and voice wish is gathered into a PDF with your event’s name, to keep on your computer, send to parents and grandparents, or print and bind as a keepsake.
You can hide or remove any wish before you make the PDF, so the book holds only what you want in it.
Ideas
- Weddings: ask guests for one piece of advice for the couple.
- Christenings: ask for a wish for the child to read when they are older. It makes a lovely gift from the godparents.
- Anniversaries: ask for a favourite memory of the couple.
- Retirements and farewells: ask colleagues to share a story.
Tips
- Mention the wishbook on the invitation, so guests start writing early.
- Print it at a local print shop on good paper. It will be read for years.
