One place for guests who travel
A destination wedding asks a lot of your guests. They book flights, find a hotel, pack for the heat and cross a time zone or two. The questions start months ahead and arrive in every chat you have. MyWedi gives them one link with everything, and keeps the whole weekend together long after everyone has flown home.
Before you travel
Your wedding website shows your names, a countdown, the venue on a map, the dress code (linen and flat shoes for a beach ceremony, say) and the schedule. A destination wedding is rarely one event, so give each part its own place: welcome drinks, the ceremony, the reception, the day-after brunch or boat trip. Guests add each to their calendar.
The RSVP collects yes, maybe or no, adults and children, meal choices and allergies, and the CSV goes straight to your planner or hotel. Reminder e-mails chase the late ones. Few guests want to carry a present on a plane, so add your bank details with a copy button, or a gift list, on the gifts page.
The private feed lets guests from both families meet before they land. Each name carries a role, so everyone knows who the best man or the bride’s aunt is.
On the day
Guests scan the QR code on the tables and upload photos and videos in full quality, with no app to install and no roaming-hungry downloads first. The live photo wall runs on the venue screen, stories catch the sunset, and song requests give the DJ a list everyone voted on. Grandparents who couldn’t make the flight follow the feed from home, and nobody outside your guest list can see it. Privacy and moderation let you approve posts first and pause anyone if needed.
After the trip
The photos keep coming once guests are home and on Wi-Fi. Download everything, keep every wish in the wishbook, and on Signature collect voice wishes and a highlight video.
Planning from far away
Choose your season with your guests in mind. In hot places, ceremonies often start late in the afternoon, and coastal venues can be windy, so say so on the invitation and in the dress code. Add the nearest airport, the hotel and the transfer times to the schedule, and remind guests to pack a charger and a plug adapter, since their phones will be busy all day. Couples from two cultures can give each its own moment in the schedule, and guests can switch the pages to another supported language. See also the page on weddings.
Which plan fits
Destination weddings use wedding prices, VAT included and paid once. Essential (€99) has the invitation, the feed and QR photos, plus RSVP, stories and song requests with three parts in the schedule. Story (€119), our most chosen plan, adds five parts, the live wall, gifts, the wishbook and approval first. Signature (€219) adds voice wishes, the highlight video and no MyWedi branding. Your space is online for three months, €30 more for six or €60 more for twelve.
